Driveways & Walkways
Durable concrete driveways, walkways, and pads built to handle Ottawa Valley seasons.
Driveways and Walkways That Last
Your driveway is one of the first things people see — and one of the hardest-working surfaces on your property. COA pours concrete driveways, walkways, patio pads, and parking surfaces that are built to handle heavy use and Ottawa Valley winters without cracking, heaving, or falling apart.
We take the time to prepare the base properly, use quality concrete mixes, and finish every surface to a clean, professional standard. Whether you're replacing an old driveway or pouring a new one on a fresh build, you'll get a result that looks good and holds up.
What We Pour
- Residential driveways
- Front walkways and side paths
- Patio pads and outdoor living areas
- Parking pads and RV pads
- Commercial sidewalks and entryways
- Curbing and step-outs
Built for the Climate
Freeze-thaw cycles are hard on concrete. That's why we use proper air-entrained mixes, adequate thickness, and a well-prepared sub-base. The prep work matters as much as the pour — and we don't cut corners on either.
Our Process
Measure & Plan
We visit your property, measure the area, discuss finish options, and provide a detailed quote. We will also check drainage and grading needs.
Base Preparation
Old material is removed if needed. We excavate to the proper depth, lay granular base material, and compact it thoroughly to prevent future settling.
Form & Pour
Precision forms are set for clean edges and proper slope. We pour high-quality air-entrained concrete and finish it to your chosen texture and style.
Cure & Seal
We apply curing compound to ensure proper strength development and can seal the surface for extra protection against Ottawa Valley winters and salt exposure.
What Affects the Cost
Driveway and walkway pricing is primarily driven by the total square footage, but several other factors come into play. The condition of the existing base (or whether one needs to be built from scratch), the thickness required for your use case, and whether you want a standard broom finish or a decorative option all affect the price.
If there is existing concrete or asphalt that needs to be torn out and removed, that adds to the cost. Access to the pour area matters too — tight lots or steep grades can require additional equipment or labour. In the Ottawa Valley, we also factor in proper base depth to handle our freeze-thaw cycles, which is essential for a driveway that lasts.
We offer free on-site estimates for all driveway and walkway projects. We will measure the area, assess the conditions, and give you a straightforward quote with no pressure.
